Dear Students, The Turkish Language Teaching Department started its activities in the 2017-2018 academic year and has come a long way since then. The aim of our department is to ensure that teacher candidates receive a qualified education by acquiring the qualifications determined at undergraduate and graduate (master's and doctorate) levels. In addition to being able to practice the teaching profession by acquiring basic knowledge and skills in the field at the undergraduate level, our department students can also continue their postgraduate education with the qualifications they have acquired. In recent years, Turkish teachers have been able to work as lecturers and experts in conducting Turkish language and culture courses abroad; they can also work as Turkish lecturers in programs for teaching Turkish to foreigners (at home and abroad), especially within the Yunus Emre Institute, and in our country, in Turkish Language Teaching Application and Research Centers.
